Aura is a specialised studio, focused on documenting artwork led by the artist-photographer Gonzalo Maggi.
With over ten years of experience in the field, our close and intimate knowledge of the photographic needs of artists, galleries and museums has driven us to refine our skills.
We have the necessary tools to achieve a flawless reproduction of the artwork, and above all, we have the expertise to be able to capture them in several contexts. EQUIPMENT
We employ studio flashes to achieve the proper artwork lighting. We use full frame cameras and professional lenses. By using a color chart we guarantee an accurate color reproduction and gamut. Image post-production is conducted on specially calibrated monitors, therefore guaranteeing a flawless representation of the artwork suitable both for printing and electronic distribution.
WORKING METHODOLOGY
We can set up on location. We bring our setup and shoot on location and it is suitable for various/different sizes and mediums using a non-invasive technique.
